Bone Suckin' Corn Bread



Bone Suckin' Hot Seasoning, 2 tsp

Olive Oil 1/2 cup

Cornmeal, self-rising, 1 cup

Flour, self-rising, 3/4 cup

Creamed-Style Corn 1 cup*

Eggs, 2

Sour Cream, 2 cups

Sharp Cheese, grated, 1 cup (optional)


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F


Spray cast iron skillet with Olive Oil and preheat pan.

Mix oil, and remaining ingredients together in a large bowl, stirring with a spoon or spatula, until combined.

Pour batter into skillet, place skillet into oven and bake until golden brown about 30 minutes.
These can be made into smaller individual muffins, but check for doneness after 15 minutes.

*Creamed corn can be found in frozen food section in most grocery stores. It usually is packaged in a tube.

This is a moist, kickin cornbread, and can go with most any meal. You gotta try it!
