This is a moist, kickin’ cornbread recipe, and it can go with most any meal. You gotta try it!

Ingredients
  • Bone Suckin’ Seasoning and Rub, Hot, 2 tsp
  • Olive Oil, ½ cup
  • Cornmeal, self-rising,1 cup
  • Flour, self rising, ¾ cup
  • Creamed Style Corn,1 cup*
  • Eggs, 2
  • Sour Cream, 2 cup
  • Sharp Cheese, grated 1 cup (optional)

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Before cooking food, spray cast iron skillet with Olive Oil and preheat pan. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, stirring with a spoon or spatula, until combined.
  3. Pour batter into skillet, place skillet into oven and bake until golden brown about 30 minutes. Recipe serves 8-10. These can be made into smaller individual muffins, but check for doneness after 15 minutes.

Notes
*Creamed corn can be found in frozen food section in most grocery stores. It usually is packaged in a tube. This recipe can be made into smaller individual muffins, but check for doneness after 15 minutes.
